Record Store Memories
This sticker was on one of the LPs I purchased recently. The design is similar to labels I've seen on vinyl from 'CD and Record Exchange' stores in London back in the late 90s. The stickers are designed so the store could mark down the price again and again periodically, letting patrons know what a great bargain they're getting as time goes by. Out of curiosity I Googled 'Reckless Records'- they still exist in the UK.
Their shop in San Francisco does not however. When RR first expanded to America in the late 80s they opened shop in SF. When that failed they moved on to Chicago, and there met with greater prosperity.
This was found on the Sigue Sigue Sputnik 12" 'Success!' #ironic
